| Field | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Url | Required. The video page address |
| Title | Optional |
The editor states that SchoolBlocks supports videos from Google Drive, MyVRSpot, Vimeo, and YouTube.
Visitor behavior
The video plays in the block. A narrow one-column block uses a 4:3 frame. A wider block uses a 16:9 frame. The embed area is at least 133 pixels high.
On desktop, hovering a non-YouTube embed can show the source name and title. An unsupported URL displays Video type is not supported.
Constraints
- Url is required.
- Only addresses from the supported services play in the block.
FAQ
- "Why does the block say Video type is not supported?" The address is not from a supported service. Use a Google Drive, MyVRSpot, Vimeo, or YouTube URL.
- "Why is there no title above the video?" Title is optional. Enter one in the editor if you want a label on the overlay for supported non-YouTube sources.
- "Can I paste a YouTube playlist?" Paste the video page URL the editor accepts for that service. Unsupported addresses show Video type is not supported.
