Social block
The Social block is a Grid block that embeds a social media feed from a URL you paste.
Adding a Social block
- Click the + (Add content) button in the admin menu.
- Click Social.
- Paste a Url, set Number of Posts, then click Add Block.
The editor heading is Add content, with the chip a Social Media Block.
Editing
Click the pencil on the block (Click to edit). Save Changes keeps the edits. Cancel discards them. Delete removes the block.
The editor lists these sources: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Youtube.

The editor states that the number of posts is limited to reduce accessibility issues with infinite feed scrolling.
Visitor behavior
- Facebook: the feed embeds on desktop. On mobile, the block shows For security reasons, this content cannot be viewed on mobile. with View on Facebook.
- Instagram: the feed embeds in a scrollable area.
- Pinterest: pins, boards, or profiles embed when the URL is valid. An ideas URL can show that Pinterest does not support embedding ideas. An invalid URL shows that the address is not a valid Pinterest URL.
- A YouTube URL saved through Social displays as a video embed on the Grid.
Constraints
- Url is required.
- Twitter / X is not offered in the Social editor icons for new blocks.
FAQ
- "Why is Facebook blank on my phone?" Facebook embeds are not shown on mobile in this block. Use View on Facebook, or view the page on desktop.
- "Can I add a Twitter feed?" The Social editor lists Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Youtube. Twitter / X is not in that list for new blocks.
- "Why is the number of posts limited?" The editor limits how many posts load at once for accessibility.
