Block Help: Video Block

Video Platforms compatible with SchoolBlocks are; YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive and School Tube videos. Keep in mind that if your district's firewall does not allow these video platforms, that may limit the functionality of these platforms. There is a chance that you will not be able to use these platforms, so check with your IT Department for Firewall Restrictions.

Instructions for adding a Video Block:

• Once you have logged in click on the "+" sign and click on "Video"
• A preview window will open asking you for the URL of the video, as well as a title. Give an obvious name to the video (title is not required, but can be helpful for people using screen reading technology).  

• Paste the external URL for the video in the URL field of the preview window
• Click the “add block” button to add the playable Video Block to your page.

• The video will automatically load within the block. The block can be resized as needed.
