Admin Help: Photo Dimensions

Use this article to refer to the size and amount of pixels allowed in any given picture. Keep in mind that if your file is too big in size, you will have to use a resizing tool online to make it the proper size. Top Left Logo/Header dimensions - We limit the height of the logo to 62 pixels tall however the width can be as roughly 300 pixels wide. Export as a PNG, Medium(150 ppi) and ensure it is transparent. Less than 5mb.

Banner dimensions - 1x4 block (standard banner size) - 290px height x 1202px width. Export as a JPEG, Quality High, 150 ppi, RGB, less than 5mb. NOTE: Important text or imagery must remain in the middle ½ of the banner or it will not be visible on mobile.

Button Dimensions - 1x.5 block (button size) - 145px height x 290px width. Export as a JPEG, Quality High, 150 ppi, RGB, less than 1mb.

File size limitations for images

Message block - Less than 1 mb

Page block - Less than 1 mb

School listing images - Less than 1 mb

Background image - Less than 425kb 1920px x 1080px

Block size dimensions based on size

This is based on the grid which is 4 blocks wide. The message block tries its best to match dimensions to 100% height and width. To perfectly match up images with a given block size, we suggest considering the block dimensions based on their sizes. (Note there is a 14 pixel gap between the blocks on the grid)

• 1x.5 block (button size) - 145px height x 290px width
• 1.5 x 2 Block 535px height x 595px wide
• 1x4 block (standard banner size) - 290px height x 1202px width 
• 1x1 block (standard size) - 290px height x 290 px width 
• 1x2 block - 290px height x 594px width. 
• 2x2 block - 594px height x 594 px width.
• 2x3 block - 594px height x 898px width.
• 3x3 block - 898px height x 898 px width.
• 4x4 block (maximum width for any block and grid width) - 1202px height x 1202px width.

VIDEO SPECS

In order for the video to auto-play, it must adhere to many restrictions.  In summary, the video must be silent and approximately 10 seconds in length.  Most importantly, it must be less than 2MB with a focus on smaller is better.  In order to achieve a 2MB limit, we suggest a 25-50% compression ratio as well as a 480p size (852x480), and a frame rate between 15-30.

Note: We recommend uploading images close to 1MB, anything larger than that, there could be a loss in quality / error uploading the image because it is being compressed to 1MB

The larger the image, the longer it will take to upload. There could be a timeout error if it’s a really large file we’re trying to compress to 1MB.
