Section Pages, Section Blocks, and Micro-Sites

Sections

Sections for admins consist of a collection of internal pages. There is no limit to how many "Sections" a site can have. They can be used for anything from pages containing content for users or even just as archive pages for admins that can be locked. Sections are best considered a central repository of all content.

You can create a "Section" from within the top navigation dashboard internal page option, or you can create a section within the sections page, accessed by "your_url.com/sections".

All "Section" pages will be listed in Alphabetical order in the sections collection page - "your_url.com/sections".

Creating Sections

• Go to your "Sections" collection - "your_url.com/sections"
• Click on the  "+" button
• Type in a title
• Click on the “Add a Section” button
• Add content to that section as needed

Deleting Sections

• Click on the section you want to delete from the collection page - "your_url.com/sections"
• Click on the trash can button.
• Click on “Delete Section”

Section Blocks 

The Section block is used to create a subpage within a "Section", "Department", or "Group (School Site internal pages only) 

• Click on the "+" sign to add a section to an already existing internal page
• Give it a title and click save to add the block to the page
• Clicking on the block will open the new subpage section which is ready for you to place blocks on and grant permissions to.

Micro Site Feature

• The Micro Site feature can be activated and deactivated by clicking on the microsite toggle in the top white bar on any internal page.
• Once toggled on, your Sections will be listed in the side navigation bar as opposed to being a block on the page.
