Notifications Audience-Groups and OUs


Administrative users can assign Groups/OU’s to a page in order to receive notifications. It is important to note that the Groups/OU’s must exist prior to being assigned, as they cannot be created on the spot. 

To assign a Group/OU to a page for notifications, follow these steps after creating groups:

  1. On the page you would like to assign the Group/OU to, click the gear icon on the left-hand side of the page to open the admin settings.


  2. Select “Groups & OUs” from the settings panel.


  3. You will have three different user types to assign from. Using the drop-down menu, choose which Groups/OUs to link to the page's notifications.


  4. Following selection, Groups and/or OUs will show up in the notification window beneath page followers.
