Admin-Help: Google Drive - You need access error

This is the error you see in a Files Block (see 'You Need Access image below')

When this message appears within your files block (see 'You Need Access' image - above), it means the file linked within the block has incorrect permissions that need to be changed for the block to work properly.

Follow these steps to fix the problem:

1. Go to Google drive for your school district and find the file in question.
2. Once you've found the file, right-click on it. You should see the following:

3. The file is located on the top, '2022 Summer & 2022-2024 Back to School'
4. Look for the 'Share' and look at the 'Share' settings, select it. You'll probably see this:

5. 'Restricted' means it is restricted and will not show on your website. The is the cause of the problem.
6. To fix the problem you need to change the Share setting.
   1. Change the setting to 'Anyone with the link'.
   2. Copy the link for your Grid block.

7. Go to your Website and find the block with the error. Select the edit icon.

8. Paste new 'shared' link here.
9. Select save. The file should show up now. If you see the file and not the error congratulations you fixed it! Well done.
